PictureJamaica.com is my latest development that started in 2006.  The idea came about from the encouragement of family and friends, who suggested that I share the images of Jamaica to the outside world.

I have been taking pictures for over forty years; photography for me is not just a hobby, it is a passion. The interest in photography started when I received my first Kodak camera as a Christmas gift from my parents at age 12.  Those were the days of the point and shoot cameras, black and white photos and flash bulbs.

Returning to Jamaica has taken my photography experience to another level. Jamaica is a photographer's dream - a tropical paradise.  It is difficult to put my camera down when I am surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Island. I am humbled by the simplicity and innocence of the country lifestyle; marveled by the attractive backdrop of our lush mountains; the rivers, sunsets, sunrises, beaches, the flavor of our people and our succulent foods.
